Network Administrator, Houston Texas

Our West Houston client is looking for a qualified Network Administrator with a great personality and skill set to work at
their commercial and retail construction company. The candidate must be very
dependable, self motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
Qualified candidate should have 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience and be
able to work with servers.

This is a one person IT department so the right candidate must be able to multi-task and handle all IT responsibilities, including maintenance of 40 systems (15 in
office, 20 in the field). Incumbent should have experience in the following
areas and will be performing the following duties:

- Server Management and Support: SQL, Hyper-V, Exchange 2007, MOSS 2007, FTP Site, Company Hosted Website, and Blackberry Enterprise Server

- Planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure

- Support Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007

- Microsoft Active Directory

- End-user Support

- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructure
- Oversee the administration of the company's WAN
- Manage and develop upgrades to the company's telephone system
- Manage all website and software implementations and upgrades

- Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary
- Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software products
- Oversee and manage all IT related projects

Experience with the implementation of Timberline software will be beneficial.
